Beautiful Master Grade version of the God Gundam, in 'Hyper Mode'. The base is Bandai's super flexible, super poseable 'Action Frame', put together with some snap-fit pieces, some screws, bolts, polycaps for joints, and some wire (Master Grade kits are much more complex than regular plastic kits) over which the armor is layered. The finished product can take on infinite 'realistic' poses as seen in the anime. Parts are gold-plated for that Hyper Mode gleam! Some stickers for detail are included, as well as a plastic 'jewel' for the Hyper Mode unit. Also included is a translucent orange plastic figure of Domon Kyasshu!

• Zeta Gundam was broadcast on Japanese TV during '84/85, following up the original series with a whole new set of characters and machines.

• Not surprisingly, the robot of the same name was the main piece of hardware in the show.

• This new show also introduced the "transformation" concept to Gundam, and the Zeta does an impressive one, switching from robot mode to "Wave Rider" mode in the wink of an eye.

• Perhaps more impressive is the fact the this Master Grade kit can also make this transformation without a single piece having to be removed or replaced on it (not counting the shield/nose piece, but that's true to the show).

• This version of the 1/100 MG Zeta Gundam is the test version as it appeared at Anaheim Electronics during the initial phases of the project.

• Eight full-size runners with hundreds of multi-colored parts make this kit a serious assembly project, but it goes together very smoothly.

• Besides the transformation capability, the kit includes all kinds of other goodies. As usual, everything moves. Even those antenna on its forehead fold up.

• Three sets of hands are included -- fists, open palm, and posable. Also includes the usual "beam saber" sword, dual Vulcan cannon, beam rifle and shield.

•  All of Bandai's MG (as well as HG) kits are completely snap-together, and parts are molded in color, so no painting is necessary.

• Of course, the use of cement and paints will improve the appearance of a finished model. Many of the surface markings are printed right onto the plastic parts to begin with, but the kit includes replacement transfers for those people who wish to paint their work.

Key Features

• Fortune Meow Design Aesthetics: Faithful reproduction of the popular "Fortune Meow" resin design, featuring exaggerated proportions, sharper armor lines, intricate surface paneling, and mechanical venting details that far exceed standard retail kits.

• Full Plastic Assembly: No resin parts or glue required. This is a snap-fit kit (though some sanding/adjustment is recommended) made from ABS, PVC, and POM plastics.

• Massive Part Count: With over 1,000+ parts and approximately 59 runners, this kit offers a dense, long-lasting build experience comparable to Perfect Grade (PG) or high-end MGEX kits.

• Reinforced Joint System: Utilizes a significant amount of POM (Polyoxymethylene) material for the inner frame and critical joints. This provides high friction and durability to support the heavy backpack and accessories without sagging.

• Double Funnel Loadout: The kit includes a total of 12 Fin Funnels, allowing for the "Double Fin Funnel" configuration right out of the box.

• Advanced Color Separation: The runners are molded in multiple specific colors (including varying shades of white/grey and distinct orange accents) to achieve a near-perfect look without painting.

Builder's Note (Important)

• Skill Level: Advanced/Expert. As a third-party kit, tolerances may be tighter than official Bandai products. You may need to sand pegs, trim "under-gated" nubs carefully, or use a pin vise to widen holes for a perfect fit.

• Articulation vs. Detail: While fully articulated, the sheer volume of the armor design limits range of motion slightly compared to a standard MG Nu Gundam Ver.[5] Ka. It is designed primarily for a commanding shelf presence and static posing.

• Face Detail: The face mask vents are typically molded solid (without open slits), so panel lining is highly recommended to bring out the details.
