and now reproduced with a new design which is based on Master Grade standards.

This kit shares few of its molds with the regular released MG 1/100 Mobile Ginn with numerous newly molded parts to accommodate its ECLIPSE variation.


The kit is also featured with entirely new molded backpack \"M67 Seamia electromagnetic linear cannon\" unit that is very unique to this particular ECLIPSE version variant. It is also installed with a pair of \"M68 Pardus Triple Short Range Guided Bullet Launcher\" on each leg. In addition, Master Grade (MG) is a line of Gunpla kits based on Mobile Suit Gundam anime series. It was first produced by Bandai in 1995 as part of the Gundam 15th Anniversary project.

Master Grade gundam are 1/100 scale kits designed and made to higher standards than High Grade (HG) kits but fall under Perfect Grade (PG) kits.

In 2002, Bandai started releasing a Master Grade line under the label of Ver. Ka (Version Katoki), in honor with veteran designer Hajime Katori.
