Series : PatlaborScale : 1/35Grade : Master Grade
I have wanted an accurate kit of the mechs from Patlabor from the first time I saw the series. Bandai finally delivers the first really accurate Patlabor kits in their second series of Master Grade kits outside the Gundam Universe. The results of course are incredible with all the bells and whistles we expect from a MG kit. Detailed cockpit with lifting chest armor to see the detail. Both standing and seated pilot figures. Weapons set of baton, long baton, shotgun and revolver (the revolver actually is stored in the right leg just like the "real" one). Three sets of interchangeable hands for different poses and weapons. And of course, like all Master Grade kits, it snaps together and is pre-colored, although painting will definitely improve the finished results. The center section of the instruction book is a complete painting guide with color mixtures. Front section is a history of the labors (all text in Japanese) with line drawings. And the final bonus is that it is in 1/35 military scale so that building dioramas and adding details is much easier. A real treat for fans of Patlabor and mecha in general.
The AV-98 Imgram is the central Tokyo police Patrol Labor or Patlabor created and designed by Shinohara Industries. The Labor remained in service for many years until the creation of the Peacekeeper.
MG Griffon is a sleek addition to the Patlabor Master Grade series. This kit really stands out due to its unique color scheme and is nicely detailed, featuring cool accessories and good pose-ability.

The Solar Robot Kit can be used to help educate children about solar power. By constructing the 3 different models themselves, the child should feel more of a connection to the toy, which can allow them to take greater interest in the model when it moves in sunlight. Through watching any of these models once constructed they will witness an effective demonstration of how the power of the sun can be harnessed by the solar panel and converted into electrical energy. The models will also function under a deck light, if there is no sunlight to use. Once exposed to a light source each model will move itself across a flat surface.
Product dimensions:
Robot mode: 11.7 (H) x 8.2 (W) x 7.1 (D) cm / 4.6 (H) x 3.2 (W) x 2.8 inches
Scorpion mode: 8.2 (H) x 9.4 (W) x 11.4 (D) / 3.2 (H) x 3.7 (W) x 4.5 (D) inches
Tank mode: 7.8 (H) x 10 (W) x 5.4 (D) / 3 (H) x 3.9 (W) x 2.1 (D) inches
The robot kit comprises of all the parts and mechanics needed to construct the 3 models, the 70 pieces can be rearranged to form the ‘standard’ robot, the tank or the scorpion. A screwdriver will be required during construction. Due to the detailed instructions supplied with the robot and the simplicity of constructing the models, the kit is suitable for ages 8 and up.
The solar kit is both an interesting desk toy and a great educational toy for children. The robot is designed to be suitable as a first time science project to help teach children about alternative forms of energy, though some adult supervision is recommended.

Jibonyan from “Youkai Watch†is the ghost of a cat who befriends the main character--and now he’s also a really cute model kit from Bandai! Molded in color and super-easy to put together with snap-fit assembly, he stands about 10cm tall when you’re completed. He comes with three different facial expressions, two interchangeable arms, a display base and a holder to store his spare parts (handy!).
This simple snap-fit kit is great for kids and beginners -- and it's cute, to boot! Togenyan is made up of parts molded in bright green, orange, and white plastic, and comes with plenty of stickers for different facial expressions and details!
